I work at a local Best Buy now. It’s kind of funny because I started watching the TV show Chuck last year in college, and I loved it. Who knew after graduation I might be working at the “Buy More” and being taught to loathe “Large Mart”.
It’s not a bad job. I’ll be able to pay off my rewarding Skidmore College education sooner than expected; that’s a big plus.
Never in my life had I seen so many acronyms until I started working here. It’s borderline ridiculous. Maybe I’m just not used to working for a corporate store, but it felt like everyone was speaking a different language for the first two weeks.
