I recently helped the College Orchestra Directors Association launch a new website. The Project was a huge facelift in conjunction with an information architecture overhaul.
The old site was developed with a table based layout and among it’s biggest problems, it lacked a cohesive and persistent navigation. Users were often confused and frustrated when trying to find information and navigate the site.
This was a huge concern that the redesign sought address. The site now features a bold, simple and consistent navigation at the top of every page.
Part of the facelift focused on rebranding the “CODAweb” property belonging to the College Orchestra Directors Association. I kept the same cool color scheme but completely redesigned the site’s logo and continued to develop a cohesive, clean, and simple layout.
So go see the new CODA site for yourself, and tell me what you think! I plan to add some interactive elements to the home page to rotate new content and increase viewer engagement.
